# Parcours Soutien Femmes

Within the Dispensaire Français – French Benevolent Society, in 2025 we created a **« Parcours Soutien Femmes »** unit dedicated to combating violence against women, in order to offer comprehensive, coordinated and caring support to those affected by it. 

We welcome and support women facing all forms of violence: physical, psychological, sexual, domestic, within the family, as well as economic abuse.

How to access the Parcours Soutien Femmes? 

No woman should face violence alone. Contact us by telephone or email. Our team will direct you to the services best suited to your situation, in complete confidence.

## **Some useful & important information**

Are you a victim of violence? The **Consulat Général de France à Londres** has made available this document with all the useful numbers to guide and help you.

- ***To get to safety, remove the abuser and/or open an investigation, or in the event of immediate danger***: contact the **Police on 999**. If you cannot speak, press **55** (the police will know you are in danger)

**If you have to leave home quickly**, remember to take:

- Identity documents
- Phone and charger
- Bank card
- Essential medication

**Remember to keep evidence** that is useful for your administrative and legal file (without putting yourself at risk) — [memo-de-vie.org](https://www.memo-de-vie.org/?ref=dispensaire-en.abstract27.com) is a free and secure platform to protect your documents:

- Medical certificates
- Photos of injuries or property damage
- Messages, emails, voicemails
- A dated log of the abuse suffered (dates, facts, witnesses)

**On the legal side**, British family law, in particular the [Family Law Act 1996](https://www.legislation.gov.uk/ukpga/1996/27/contents?ref=dispensaire-en.abstract27.com), provides that you do not need to be a British national to receive protection. You can therefore obtain:
