Victoire Kotur de Castelbajac, Ariane Klajzyngier - Serhal, Elisabeth Limido and Pia Mendelssohn. Four different backgrounds. Four complementary areas of expertise. This week, we had the immense privilege of being received at the Embassy of France in the United Kingdom by the Ambassador, Hélène Duchêne, and the Consul General, Olivier GUYONVARCH, to celebrate the volunteers of the Dispensaire Français-French Benevolent Society. In 2026, our "beautiful home" beats to the rhythm of 70 exceptional volunteers. Doctors, healthcare professionals, psychologists, Senior Club coordinators and Trustees: all give their expertise to support French speakers in the United Kingdom (whether they are unwell, isolated, vulnerable or without private insurance) Our key work: 🩺 Health: Medical and psychological consultations (in person/remote) 🤝 Solidarity: Medical and social support dedicated to refugees 🛡️ Protection: A multidisciplinary unit tackling violence against women ☀️ Social connection: A vibrant Senior Club to break the isolation of the over-70s A big thank-you to Christelle SAMSON and her team for our close collaboration with the Consulate's social services.
